Integration of Secondary and Higher Vocational Education:Logical Starting Point,Institutional Basis and Future Prospects

Abstract
Promoting the integration of secondary and higher vocational education is an important direction of China's vocational education reform in recent years.However,in practice,there is also a misunderstanding that the integration of secondary and higher vocational education is only regarded as a means of further education,ignoring its important mission of cultivating high-skilled talents.In years of practical exploration,the integration of secondary and higher vocational education has formed a cultivation mode with secondary vocational education as the main body,higher vocational education as the main body,and secondary and higher vocational education as the double main body,and the legitimacy of the integration of secondary and higher vocational education has basically been completed at the institutional level.Looking to the future,to promote the reform of the integration of secondary and higher vocational education,it is necessary to transition from formal integration to connotative integration,and to carry out systematic innovation in the key elements of teaching such as specialties,curricula,teaching materials,teaching staff,and practical training bases,so as to comprehensively improve the quality of cultivating high-skilled talents.关键词
