The Experience of National Famous TCM Doctors with Qiujianxing in Diagnosis and Treatment of Liver Diseases

Abstract
Chronic liver disease is a major cause of cirrhosis and liver cancer.Professor Qiu Jianxing,is one of the first national fa-mous traditional Chinese medicine doctors,has been practicing in the field of spleen,stomach,and liver and gallbladder diseases for over 50 years,accumulating profound clinical knowledge and practical experience.Professor Qiu has deeply analyzed the patho-genic factors of liver disease in the Lingnan region,believing that it mainly stems from damp heat and toxic poison accumulation that has long-term progressed into toxins and accumulations.Professor Qiu clearly pointed out that"dampness-heat with epidemic toxin"is the basic pathogenesis of liver disease in this region.In terms of treatment strategies,he emphasizes that the basic prin-ciples of clearing the liver,detoxifying,and personifying the spleen and stomach should be followed.In the early stage,medication should focus on clearing the liver,detoxifying,and invigorating the spleen and stomach,while in the middle stage,it is necessary to soothe the liver,invigorate the spleen,and activate blood circulation to detoxify.In the later stage,treatment principles of strengthen-ing the body,promoting blood circulation to soften and solidify should be adopted.In terms of drug selection,he is good at using tra-ditional Chinese medicinal herbs such as ChaiHu and ChiShao through meticulous compatibility to achieve precise treatment of liver disease.This article is to systematically sort out and summarize Professor Qiu Jiansheng's clinical experience in treating liver disease in the Lingnan region and his selection of drug pairs,with a view to providing useful reference for clinical doctors.关键词
