Abstract
In the process of urban development,commercial pedestrian streets,as important public spaces,have a direct impact on urban vitality and cultural heritage in terms of their design quality.It studies the current situation of commercial pedestrian streets and analyzes the existing problems,applying place theory to the spatial design of commercial pedestrian streets,fully considering people's perception and identifica-tion with the place,planning functional zoning reasonably,which promotes crowd interaction,explores re-gional cultural elements and integrates them into the design,and enhances the cultural identity of the place.By verifying the feasibility and effectiveness of the design strategy through practical cases,it provides theoretical and practical references for the spatial design of commercial pedestrian streets based on place theory,which helps to improve the quality of urban public space,inherit regional culture,and promote sus-tainable urban development.关键词
