2020年唐山市古冶区MS 5.1地震震源机制解及地震活动性分析
Analysis of the focal mechanism solution and seismicity of the 2020 MS 5.1 earthquake in Tangshan,Hebei

Abstract
An MS 5.1 earthquake occurred on July 12,2020,in Tangshan,which was strongly felt in the Tangshan City.This earthquake may belong to the Tangshan MS 7.8 earthquake sequence in 1976.Based on ML>1 earthquakes of 2000-2021,the temporal and spatial scanning analysis of the b value of earthquakes in the focal region is carried out to obtain the seismicity characteristics and abnormal areas.In this study,the seismic records from Hebei and adjacent regions are used to invert the focal mechanism solution and focal depth of the MS 5.1 earthquake by the CAP method.The inversion results show that this earthquake mechanism was a right-lateral strike-slip fault.The moment magnitude is 4.9.The seismogenic fault is nodal I with strike,dip,and slip angles of 236.0°,77.0°,and-170.0°,respectively.关键词
