摘要

Abstract

In order to provide B-ultrasound images and various basic data for veterinary clinical application of veterinary B-ultrasound technology to diagnose the follicular development and pregnancy of Sewa sheep in Xizang,this research carried out follicular development B-ultrasound detection and slaughter verification on six healthy adult Sewa ewes'ovaries in vivo and in vitro.The results showed that follicles of more than three levels could be detected in vivo,while those of lower levels could not be detected.There was no significant difference between in vivo and in vitro monitoring and slaughter verification(P>0.05)when the diameters of third level follicles,mature follicles and pre ovulation follicles were verified;After 37-40 days of artificial insemination,the blastocyst stage fetus could be observed using a veterinary ultrasound instrument.The fetal area from 56-63 days was(39.55±1.07)cm2,and the fetal bone echo gradually increased.On 84-98 days,the fetal area was(42.75±12.66)cm2,and the fetal head and torso could be distinguished.On 111-120 days,the fetal surface area was(113.05±7.16)cm2,and changes in fetal position,limbs,and heart rate could be clearly observed.Therefore,veterinary ultrasound technology can be applied to accurately determine mature and above follicles as well as pregnancy in Seva sheep.
