Influence of Li-ion battery manufacturing process on thermal runaway of power battery and optimization strategy
摘要
Abstract
Thermal runaway of power battery is an important cause of energy and battery material loss.Taking the battery manufacturing process as the research object,the process factors that make the battery produce thermal runaway in each link are analyzed,and the process optimization strategy to realize the efficient utilization of power battery energy and materials is discussed.The results show that the main factors of the thermal runaway of the battery are the penetration and puncture of the diaphragm caused by abnormal process,the contact of positive and negative electrodes caused by the dislocation of the electrode plate or diaphragm,the short circuit caused by the too long tab,the high water content,the insufficient electrolyte,the film quality of SEI and the poor consistency of the battery.The first stage of the process is optimized to obtain high-quality electrode sheets,the middle stage of the process controls the alignment of the electrode sheet,moisture and liquid retention,and the second stage of the process ensures a good and stable electrochemical environment inside the battery,which can effectively prevent the power battery from generating thermal runaway.关键词
