盾构刮刀旋转破岩力学特性试验研究
Experimental study on mechanical characteristics of shield scrapers during rotary rock-breaking tests

Abstract
The identification of mechanical-geological interactions during shield tunneling plays a crucial role in enhancing the service life of cutting tools and improving tunneling efficiency.Current research primarily focuses on the rock-breaking performance of disc cutters,while little is known about the cutting performance of scraper cutters.This study,which was conducted at the laboratory scale,focused on the mechanical-geological cutting action of shield scraper cutters.With the aid of a large-diameter ro-tary cutting test platform,the cutting performances of two types of shell cutters and one type of Yuanbao ripping cutter were investigated.Besides,the structural characteristics and functions of these three types of scraper cutters were analyzed based on the design principles of shield cutters,and their cutting charac-teristics were further compared.The experimental results reveal that for the Yuanbao ripping cutter,the normal force,tangential force,and lateral force all go up with the increase of cutting depth.The lateral force decreases with the increase of cutting radius,while the normal and tangential forces do not vary with it.The cutting sequence influences the forces acting on the cutters.Specifically,at an even number of slots,the normal force,tangential force,and lateral force on the Type Ⅰ shell cutter grow with the increase of cutting depth,while at an odd number of slots,they rise first and then fall.As the cutting ra-dius increases,the forces on the TypeⅠshell cutter exhibit a zigzag periodic variation,and the charac-teristics of cutting forces on the Type Ⅱ shell cutter are similar to those on Type Ⅰ.The front edge of the Yuanbao ripping cutter experiences severer wear than the rear edge.The wear on the blade of the Type Ⅰ shell cutter is not prominent,and the Type Ⅱ shell cutter shows the least wear.The cutting forces on the three types of shield cutters follow an order:Type Ⅰ shell cutter>Type Ⅱ shell cutter>Yuanbao ripping cutter.According to the experimental results,using Yuanbao ripping cutters for cutting grout is easier during shield tunneling and places lower demands on the performance of the shield tunne-ling machine.This research provides valuable engineering insights for optimizing shield tunneling param-eters and enhancing the service life of cutting tools.关键词
