Intergenerational Succession,Political Connections and Family Firm's Social Responsibility:Based on Stakeholder Perspective

Abstract
Based on the data of A-share listed family firms in China from 2010 to 2020,this paper discusses the influence of intergenerational succession on the corporate social responsibility of different stakeholders in family firms and the moderating effect of political connection.On this basis,we continue to explore the influence of heir gender and kinship on the corporate social responsibility of different stakeholders in family firms.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn:First,intergenerational succession has a significant positive impact on shareholders and social public responsibility,and has a significant negative impact on employees,suppliers,customers and consumers,and environmental responsibility.Second,political connection negatively moderates the relationship between intergenerational succession and shareholder responsibility,and positively moderates the relationship between intergenerational succession and social public responsibility,that is,when there is political connection,the positive impact of intergenerational succession on shareholder responsibility will be weakened,while the positive impact on social public responsibility will be strengthened.Third,in a family firms with intergenerational succession,the gender and kinship of heirs will significantly affect the shareholder responsibility of the firms.关键词
