压-剪复合应力下木材力学性能与强度准则研究
Research on mechanical properties and failure criterion of wood under combined compression and shear stresses

Abstract
To study the mechanical properties and strength criteria of wood under compression-shear stresses,a'dog bone'plate specimen and a loading device modified from a uniaxial testing machine were developed.The testing machine and loading device were used for shear and compression loading,respectively.Considering the influences of shear direction,compressive stress ratio and other factors on three planes orthogonal to the longitudinal(L),radial(R),and tangential(T)directions,ninety specimens were made and tested under compression,shear and compression-shear loadings.The shear failure modes and stress-strain curves of wood under different textures inside and compressive stress ratios were obtained.The influences of compressive stress ratios on the shear strength,shear modulus,and peak shear strain of wood were analyzed.The prediction accuracy and optimal stress range of commonly used strength criteria for compression-shear strength of wood were examined.The results indicate that the failure mode,stress-strain curve,and strength law of wood under compression-shear stresses are greatly influenced by grain direction and compressive stress ratio,which are different from those under uniaxial compression and pure shear.The Hill strength criterion,van der Put criterion,and Hoffman criterion are most suitable for characterizing the compression-shear strength patterns within the LR and LT,RL and TL,as well as RT and TR planes,respectively.关键词
