Mechanical Properties Analysis of Encrusted Recycled Coarse Aggregate Desert Sand Concrete

Abstract
In order to investigate the mechanical properties of encapsulated recycled coarse aggregate desert sand concrete,desert sand and encapsulated recycled coarse aggregate were used to partially replace natural sand and coarse aggregate to prepare the encapsulated recycled coarse aggregate desert sand concrete.Mechanical property tests were conducted to analyze the effects of encapsulated recycled coarse aggregate and desert sand substitution rate on the slum,rebound value,ultrasonic velocity,compressive strength,splitting tensile strength,and bending strength.The relationships among compressive strength,ultrasonic velocity,and rebound value were established.The results indicated that as the desert sand replacement ratio increased,the rebound value,ultrasonic velocity,compressive strength,splitting tensile strength,and bending strength increased initially and then decreased,reaching the maximum when the desert sand replacement ratio was 20%.With the increasing encapsulated recycled coarse aggregate replacement ratio,these mechanical properties showed a decreasing trend.When the replacement rate is 25%,the loss of mechanical performance is minimized.关键词
