Since the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core,has comprehensively and systematically established strategic initiatives for the construction of a strong cultural nation,creating a solid foundation for the high-quality development of digital publishing.Within the strategic context of accelerating the development of a digital China and a Cyberpower,while promoting digital economic growth,the Chinese publishing industry continues to evolve substantially,fostering new quality productive forces,developing innovative models and formats,and generating new driving forces for development.In 2024,leveraging the strategic momentum of digital China and Cyberpower construction,alongside the vigorous advancement of the digital economy,Chinese publishing industry has accelerated its digital transformation and upgrading,further deepening the integrated development of publishing.Over the past year,digital publishing has made significant progress in policy direction,content development,technological implementation,model innovation,talent cultivation,international communication capacity,and safeguard mechanisms.The leading social value of digital publishing has become increasingly prominent.The industry has systematically explored paths toward integrated development.Artificial intelligence has emerged as a significant enabling force within the sector.Online literature has steadily enhanced its cultural influence.Digital education has seen continuous advancement in both quality and standardization.The impact of digital publishing on international communication has strengthened consistently.The system for digital copyright protection and standardization has been progressively enhanced.Initiatives to develop publishing talent have intensified.Additionally,the comprehensive integration of digital technologies has expanded publishing into new territories.Digital publishing is advancing toward high-quality development,becoming an important driving force in Chinese cultural construction for the new era and playing an increasingly significant role in building a strong cultural nation and developing the digital economy.Looking forward,the ideological leadership and spiritual cohesion of digital publishing will continue to strengthen.The comprehensive integration of publishing development has entered a stage of evaluating achievements and planning for new developments.Artificial intelligence will continue to transform the content ecosystem,publishing data management and utilization will improve further,digital cultural consumption scenarios will realize increasing value,international communication efficiency will steadily advance,the construction of digital content governance system will accelerate,and the mechanism for cultivating new publishing talents will be refined.This analysis comprehensively reviews the development of China's digital publishing in 2024 as well as during the"14th Five-Year Plan"period,elucidates the new characteristics and achievements of digital publishing over the past year,and provides insights into its development trajectory for 2025 and the upcoming"15th Five-Year Plan"period.关键词
