Abstract
This study investigated the effects of different levels of compound probiotic preparation on growth performance, intestinal microbiota, and serum hormone levels in lambs.Forty-eight two-month-old Hu lambs were randomly divided into four groups with four replicates per group and three lambs per replicate. The experimental diets were supplemented with 0(control group,CK),0.5%(group A),1.0%(group B),and 2.0%(group C)compound probiotic preparation. The pre-test lasted for seven days, and the formal test lasted for 60 days. The results showed that compared with the CK group, the average daily gain of group B lambs significantly increased(P<0.05),and the feed to gain ratio significantly decreased(P<0.05).Compared with CK group, the Chao index and the relative abundance of Firmicutes in intestinal tract of lambs in group B were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the relative abundance of Bacteroides and Proteobacteria in groups B and C were significantly decreased(P<0.05).The relative abundance of Ruminococcus in all experimental groups significantly increased(P<0.05),whereas Succinivibrio decreased(P<0.05).The relative abundance of Prevotella and Bacteroides in group B were significantly increased(P<0.05).Christensenellaceae and Lachnospiraceae significantly increased in group B(P<0.05),and Escherichia in groups B and C was significantly decreased(P<0.05).Compared with CK group, the serum cortisol(COR)levels in groups B and C was significantly decreased(P<0.05),epinephrine(EPI)level in group B and lipopolysaccharide(LPS)level in groups A and B were significantly decreased(P<0.05).The study indicates that dietary supplementation of 1.0%compound probiotic preparation has a good effect on improving the growth performance, intestinal health and body health of lambs.关键词
