Application of glucose oxidase in animal production
摘要
Abstract
Glucose oxidase(GOD)belongs to the glucose-methanol-choline oxidoreductase(GMC)family and is capable of utilizing oxygen to oxidize β-D-glucose into gluconic acid(GA),while simultaneously generating hydrogen peroxide(H2O2).It has been widely applied in various fields such as animal husbandry,biomedicine,and the food industry.In animal production,GOD serves as a novel feed additive,not only exhibiting growth-promoting and antibiotic-alternative potential,but also playing a significant role in enhancing the body's antioxidant capacity,maintaining intestinal microbiota homeostasis,improving gut health,boosting production performance,and strengthening immune function.This article reviews the main mechanisms of GOD's regulatory effects on animal growth,based on its structure,catalytic mechanism,and physicochemical properties.It also summarizes the recent applications of GOD in poultry,pig,and ruminants,and provides an outlook on its development and utilization,aiming to promote efficient use of GOD in the animal husbandry.关键词
