摘要

Abstract

Hot weather is a major challenge in dairy farming.Heat stress can reduce milk yield,milk protein and unsaturated fatty acids,affect oocyte and sperm cell development,reduce pregnancy rate,damage embryo and calf development,weaken the immune function of dairy cows and cause inflammation of uterus and mammary gland,increase the level of oxidative stress in dairy cows,reduce antioxidant performance and metabolic function,reduced feed intake in dairy cows,resulting in limited rumen function,blocked transport of short-chain fatty acids,and increased fecal E.coli.The serious damage caused by heat stress to dairy cows can be effectively mitigated by feeding management measures such as changing feeding time,increasing drinking water equipment,adding fans,and adding feed additives such as probiotics,amino acids,plant extracts,vitamins,minerals and fatty acids in diets,so as to improve the health level and production performance of dairy cows.This study reviewed the heat stress indexes of dairy cows,the damage mechanism of heat stress on production performance,reproductive performance,immune and antioxidant performance,digestion and absorption function of dairy cows,and effective regulation measures,so as to provide reference for effectively coping with heat stress in summer dairy cattle breeding.
