Research progress on functional hydrogels for the treatment of osteoarthritis cartilage injury
摘要
Abstract
Cartilage damage is the most important pathological mechanism in the development of osteoarthritis(OA).Current strategies to repair cartilage injuries include drug therapy and surgical treatment,both of which have limitations.In recent years,functional hydrogels have shown great potential in the field of cartilage repair due to their unique physicochemical properties and biological characteristics.This article reviews the classification of hydrogels and the application of functional hydrogels in OA cartilage repair,including their roles as scaffold materials,cell delivery vehicles,and drug delivery carriers,and looks forward to their future prospects in cartilage repair.关键词
