Development Trend of Statistics in the Context of Big Data
摘要
Abstract
Based on the background of big data,this paper analyzes the new transformation of statistics,new statistical methods and the opportunities and challenges facing statistics in three aspects.Firstly,it summarizes the new transformation of statistics in the era of big data,which is specifically manifested in five aspects:problem-driven shifting to data-driven,data source known shifting to data source unknown,and transformation of the statistical analysis process;secondly,it focuses on analyzing the new statistical methods that match with big data,such as data mining and machine learning,high-dimensional data analysis,and time-series analysis;lastly,it elaborates the opportunities and challenges faced by statistics,and looks forward to its future development trend.Finally,the opportunities and challenges faced by statistics are described,and its future development trend is outlooked.关键词
