THE COUPLING OF FORM AND FUNCTION:THE AESTHETIC VALUE AND DESIGN APPLICATION OF THE"BAMBOO"ELEMENT IN NEW CHINESE STYLE FURNITURE

Abstract
To explore the multidimensional application of"bamboo"elements in new Chinese furniture and promote the beauty of the organic integration of traditional Chinese cultural elements with contemporary furniture design.The article first explains the concept of new Chinese style furniture,analyzes the importance of"disassembly"and"comfort"in furniture design and function,explores the design strategies and practical methods of"bamboo element"furniture in application and creation,and extracts the formal aesthetic presentation of the"bamboo"element in new Chinese style furniture.The final conclusion is that the mortise and tenon structure of bamboo furniture combines mechanics and aesthetics in connection,and the material and shape structure are the continuation of tradition and characteristics.Finally,through the analysis and summary of application cases,the theoretical framework of the application and creation of"bamboo"elements in new Chinese style furniture is improved,providing a new perspective for innovation in new Chinese style furniture.关键词
