Central Agglomeration or Edge Diffusion:The Impact of Digital Economy on the Distribution of Production Factors of Urban Agglomeration in the Yellow River Valley

Abstract
It is of great significance to explore the influence of the layout of production factors in the urban agglomeration of the Yellow River Basin under the impact of digital economy for promoting the high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin according to local conditions.Therefore,theoretically,from the perspective of the heterogeneity of factor types,this paper expounds how the digital econ-omy affects the layout of production factors in urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin.In the empirical study,taking the five major urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin as the research object,this paper empirically tests the influence and path of digit-al economy on the layout of production factors in urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin by using the panel data of prefecture-level cities from 2011 to 2018.The results show that:The digital economy has different degrees of agglomeration effect on the produc-tion factors of urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin,and this conclusion is still valid after endogenous treatment and robust-ness test.Digital economy can promote the agglomeration of production factors in urban agglomerations of the Yellow River Basin through market demand,but it shows heterogeneous path characteristics according to different types of factors.Further analysis shows that the agglomeration effect of digital economy on the production factors of urban agglomeration in the Yellow River Basin is increasing dynamically,while the path effect is weakening after crossing the threshold.关键词
