摘要

Abstract

With the rapid development of IoT technologies,edge computing,as a new data processing model,has brought about new improvement directions for urban traffic systems.Edge computing enables real-time data processing close to the data source,significantly reducing data transmission time and response latency,thereby enhancing the efficiency and safety of traffic management systems.This paper analyzes existing edge computing technologies and,in conjunction with specific urban traffic management cases,proposes a comprehensive IoT edge computing application framework.This framework not only optimizes traffic flow monitoring and intelligent traffic management but also provides technical support for the integration of vehicle networking and autonomous driving technologies.Through this study,a clearer understanding of the application potential and transformative impact of IoT edge computing in modern urban traffic can be gained.
