Abstract

The underframe of the D22B heavy-duty flat car is not equipped with the enhanced end plate that can be opened and closed at both ends,and the existing gangway foot plate with steel structure is not easy to install and use,making it fail to meet the requirements of roll-on and roll-off of special large wheeled equipment.Therefore,a design scheme for gangway foot plate using new materials,new structures,and new fixing methods was proposed.Based on the application of the gangway foot plate,the bearing requirements and forces of the gangway foot plate were analyzed,and the characteristics of aluminum alloy material were considered.The structural design of the key parts was formed,and the longitudinal and vertical fixed design schemes were proposed.The vertical stress analysis was carried out through simulation,and the simulation results show that the strength of the gangway foot plate ensures its application in the most unfavorable working conditions.Finally,through the actual roll-on and roll-off operation verification of the whole line of special wheeled equipment with different dimensions and weights,it is concluded that the performance of the gangway foot plate of the D22B heavy-duty flat car is better than that of the existing gangway foot plate with steel structure,which can significantly improve the loading and unloading efficiency of special large wheeled equipment.
