摘要
Abstract
At present,the floating-point computing capacity of Shaanxi meteorological high performance computing(HPC)sys-tem exceeds 127 TFlops.It is used to support the operation of Shaanxi regional numerical model system.The shaanxi regional numerical model system has two regions,the outermost layer covers the whole China region(horizontal resolution of 9 km),and the inner layer covers Shaanxi and its surrounding areas(horizontal resolution of 3 km),with 34 vertical layers.According to the development demand of regional numerical model in Shaanxi province,the accuracy of grid data in the key area will be improved from 3 km to 1 km,the horizontal resolution of the model will be improved to 1 km,the time resolution will be im-proved from 3 hours to 1 hour,and the number of vertical layers of the model will be increased to 50.In order to meet the de-mand,it is proposed to design an overall capacity expansion scheme for the HPC system with a floating-point computing capaci-ty of more than 191 TFlops,and with capacity of 2496 CPU cores.关键词
