Abstract
The microstrip antenna is widely used in satellite communication,radar,and missile due to its small size,light weight,and easily integration on non-planar surfaces.This paper designs a 2X2 microstrip phased array antenna with a center frequency of 3.5 GHz.The antenna uses a circular patch element as the driven unit and is fed by microstrip lines.The antenna is designed and simulated by CST software.Testing results demonstrate that the gain of the antenna is greater than 11.3 dB and return loss S11 is lower than-10 dB across the operating frequency band.Moreover,the antenna can achieve azimuth±16° beam scanning beam scanning in E-plane.The antenna has the advantage of fewer antenna elements,high gain,and small size performance.This antenna is easier to integrate on curved surfaces and is suitable for Wi-Fi frequency bands in communica-tions.关键词
