Abstract
Based on the data from national control sites and county-level environmental air quality monitoring stations in Fuzhou City from 2018 to 2022,as well as meteorological observation data,the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of near-surface O3 concentration in Fuzhou City and its relationship with meteorological conditions were analyzed.The results indicated that the O3-8 h concentration in Fuzhou City predominantly ranged from 50 to 130 μg/m,with the highest O3-8 h-90 per concentration level observed in 2019,though the overall trend of annual concentration changes was not significant over the five years.It had seasonal variation characteristics that the highest O3-8 h levels in autumn,followed by summer,spring,and winter,and O3-8 h exceedances predominantly occur in autumn.The monthly variations manifested a bimodal pattern,with April-May and September-October being the high incidence periods of O3 pollution in Fuzhou City.The diurnal variation of O3 concentration manifested a unimodal pattern,usually peaking around 15:00 daily,with most exceedance times occurring between 12:00 and18:00 in autumn.Spatially,higher O3-8 h concentrations in the central-northwestern regions and lower concentrations in the southern-northeastern areas.Notably,Linchuan District in the northwest exhibited the highest ozone levels,followed by Chongren County and Nancheng County in the central part,and Guanchang County in the south having the lowest concentration.The O3-8 h concentration was significantly correlated with various meteorological factors,with O3 pollution likely to couse when the daily average relative humidity was 53.2%~71.3%,sunshine hours were 5.2~6.9 h,temperature was 20.7~30.8℃,pressure was 984.5~1011.6 hPa,wind speed was 1.5~4.0 m/s,and the dominant wind direction was NNE,NE,or N.These results could provideed valuable insights into the spatial and temporal dynamics of ozone pollution in Fuzhou City,offering implications for understanding its sources and implementing effective mitigation strategies.关键词
