摘要
Abstract
With the escalating scarcity of traditional feed protein resources in China,insects,characterized by high protein content,well-balanced amino acid profile,and abundant bioactive compounds,are emerging as a promising alternative,offering significant application potential.The review encompasses the primary categories of insect-based feeds,their nutritional composition,and unique functional substances,such as chitin,antimicrobial peptides,and lectins.It highlights the modulatory effects of insect feeds on the gut microbiota health,antioxidant capacity,and immune functions in animals.Additionally,it provides a systematic analysis of their influence on digestion,metabolism,and productivity in animal.It aims to establish a theoretical foundation for the scientific application of insect feeds in animal production,thereby fostering the diversification of feed resource utilization in China.关键词
