Effects of Selenium on Growth and Reproductive Performance of Sheep
摘要
Abstract
Selenium is an essential trace element for animals,which plays an important role in maintaining the normal physiological process of sheep.Appropriate amount of selenium supplementation in the diet supports to the growth and development of sheep,improves the vitality and quality of sperm in rams,promotes the development of follicles in ewes,and increases the reproductive rate.Therefore,selenium contributes to the growth and development and reproductive performance of sheep.The article reviews biological significance of selenium in growth,development and reproductive performance of sheep.And it provides the knowledge on selenium in-depth and application of selenium in sheep production.关键词
