摘要

Abstract

China is the largest country in pig breeding and pork consumption,with breeding volume and consumption accounting for more than half of the world,and pork accounts for 60%of China's meat consumption.The disease is an important factor affecting the healthy development of the pig industry worldwide.To prevent and control infectious diseases in pig farms,we can develop vaccines and drugs from the perspective of pathogens.We also can explore resistance genes from the genetic perspective of the host(pig)to breed new strains(species)of disease-resistant pigs.For the major infectious diseases(such as PRRS and ASF)for which vaccine efficacy is not ideal or vaccines are not available,breeding disease-resistant pigs with biological breeding technology is expected to fundamentally solve the prevention and control of these diseases and the economic losses caused to the pig industry.In this review,we mainly focuses on the disease resistance breeding work carried out in the field of swine disease in China,with a view to providing a basis for the prevention and control of swine disease in China,cultivating strategic new breeds,and achieving the self-reliance and self-improvement of the seed industry;at the same time,it also gives an outlook on the future development trend of the field of swine disease resistance breeding.
