摘要

Abstract

E Nongxiang 11S is a high-quality photo-thermo-sensitive genic male sterile(PTGMS)line newly developed by the Institute of Food Crops,Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences.It has high quality with slender fragrant grain,blast resistance and short growth period.Longke 638S,a PTGMS line with a relatively long growth period and high general combining ability,was used as a parent to cross with E Nongxiang 11S.Through molecular marker-assisted selection(MAS)and phenotypic identification,six new sterile lines derived from the progeny of"Longke 638S/E Nongxiang 11S"and carrying Pi1,fgr and GL7 genes were created.Their fertility,main agronomic traits,grain quality and heterosis were evaluated.The growth period of the above mentioned six new sterile lines was 3.6~6.0 days longer than that of E Nongxiang 11S,their main agronomic traits,grain quality and fertility were similar to those of E Nongxiang 11S,and their general combining ability was better than that of E Nongxiang 11S.The hybrid combinations derived from ML-S15 reached the yield level of the Longke 638S-derived hybrids and the control Fengliangyou 4.The results showed that the new sterile lines could be used to develop new two-line hybrid rice combinations with long maturity,long grain,aroma and resistance to rice blast,and had a good application prospect.
