摘要

Abstract

Jia 89A is a BT-type medium-maturing late japonica rice CMS line developed by Jiaxing Academy of Agricultural Sciences.It was bred by backcrossing for multiple generations after test crossing the BT-type japonica CMS line Jia 60A as the female parent with Jia 89B,a new japonica line with semi-erect panicle,fine grain quality and herbicide resistance,as the male parent.It has the characteristics of good grain quality,herbicide resistance,strong combining ability,high stigma exsertion rate and good multiplication and seed production characters.It was approved by Zhejiang Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in May,2024.The new hybrid rice combination Jiayou 12 derived from Jia 89A and Jiahui 12 was approved by Shanghai Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in July,2024.
