Responses of Nitrogen Use Efficiency,Yield and Quality to Sowing Date of High-quality and Wide-adaptability Indica Hybrid Rice Huazheyou 210

Abstract
In order to investigate the effects of sowing date on the yield and quality of new indica hybrid rice combination Huazheyou 210,a randomized block design was adopted in this experiment,and four sowing date treatments were set up on May 15(T1),May 20(T2),May 25(T3)and May 30(T4).The growth period,nitrogen use efficiency,yield and quality of rice under different treatments were determined.The results showed that with the delay of sowing date,the yield of Huazheyou 210 increased first and then decreased.The yield of T2 treatment was the highest at 10.1 t/hm2,which was 6.3%,9.8%and 17.4%higher than that of T1 treatment,T3 treatment and T4 treatment,respectively.Compared with T4 treatment,the total plant nitrogen uptake,grain nitrogen uptake and nitrogen partial factor productivity of T2 treatment increased by 8.9%,8.9%and 17.7%,respectively,and the number of spikelets per panicle,total number of spikelets perhectare,seed setting rate and 1 000-grain weight increased by 9.6%,6.5%,8.0%and 2.3%,respectively.With the delay of sowing date,except for amylose content,protein content and gel consistency,there were significant differences in brown rice rate,head rice rate,chalky grain rate and chalkiness degree between T2 and T4 treatments.Compared with T4 treatment,the brown rice rate and head rice rate of T2 treatment increased by 5.2%and 7.4%,respectively,the chalky grain rate and chalkiness degree decreased by 49.8%and 58.9%,respectively,and the gel consistency increased by 4.2%.The total plant nitrogen uptake and grain nitrogen uptake were significantly positively correlated with yield and its components(except the number of effective panicles),brown rice rate and head rice rate,and significantly negatively correlated with chalky grain rate and chalkiness degree.To sum up,in order to give full play to the yield and quality potential of variety,the suitable sowing date of Huazheyou 210 is May 20 in Quzhou area.关键词
