摘要

Abstract

Guangzhou technical education has a long history and distinctive characteristics of the times.Based on major landmark events,seventy years'development progress of Guangzhou technical education could be divided into five stages:start-up and initial stage,restructuring and stagnation stage,reconstruction and revitalization stage,adjustment and adaptation stage,stabilization and standardization stage.Valuable experiences such as steadily increasing the scale of education,gradually improving of training level,dynamic optimization of resources layout,deepening school-enterprise cooperation,and continuous promotion of reform and innovation have been extracted through these development stages.This study points out that Guangzhou's technical education is facing challenges such as insufficient leading advantages,lack of attractiveness,and weak industrial adaptability.Based on this,the following strategies are proposed for the high-quality development of technical and vocational education in Guangzhou:implementing categorized reforms to better integrate technical schools and colleges into the vocational education ecosystem;coordinating resources to promote complementary and differentiated development among vocational schools within the same city;and fostering distinctive characteristics to facilitate high-quality and full employment of skilled talents.
