Determination of Inorganic Elements in Cunninghamia lanceolata Leaves by ICP-MS Combined with Chemometrics and Fingerprint Study

Abstract
Objective:To determine the contents of 14 inorganic elements in Cunninghamia lanceolata leaves and establish relevant fingerprint,so as to provide a reference basis for the quality evaluation of Cunninghamia lanceolata leaves.Methods:ICP-MS technology was used to determine the contents of multiple inorganic elements in the samples.Cluster analysis,Pearson correlation analysis,principal component analysis and orthogonal partial least square discriminant analysis were performed on the data to study the correlation among various elements and establish the fingerprint of inorganic elements.Results:The linear relationship of 14 inorganic elements was good in the respective concentration range.There was a certain correlation between different elements.The quality difference of Cunninghamia lanceolata leaves from different producing areas was further evaluated by principal component analysis,10 batches of samples were di-vided into 3 categories,and 4 main factors affecting the classification of Cunninghamia lanceolata leaves were obtained.8 difference markers such as Al,Ti,Fe,Tl,Cu,Zn,B and Sr were screened by orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis,which could be used to distinguish different batches of Cunninghamia lanceolata leaves.Conclusion:The ICP-MS method for the determination of inor-ganic elements in Cunninghamia lanceolata leaves is simple and reliable,and can provide reference for its quality control.关键词
