Analysis of Surface Water Environmental Quality in Anhui Province from 2013 to 2023

摘要

Abstract

The single factor evaluation method and Spearman rank correlation coefficient method were used to study the surface water environ-mental quality in Anhui Province in the past 11 years.According to the analysis results of the surface water monitoring network data in Anhui Province,the surface water environmental quality in Anhui Province showed a significant improvement trend from 2013 to 2023.The proportion of sections with high-quality water(Grade I to Ⅲ)increased by 22.7 percentage points compared to ten years ago,while the proportion of sec-tions with poor water quality(below Grade V)decreased by 9.7 percentage points.The annual average concentrations of ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus in the surface water of Anhui Province showed a significant downward trend,while the permanganate index and total nitro-gen did not show significant trends.The proportion of rivers with good water quality in the four major basins showed an overall upward trend;the concentrations of ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus in the four major basins all showed significant downward trends;the main rivers in the Chaohu Lake Basin showed the most significant reduction in pollution indicators.Overall,the water environment quality of other lakes and reservoirs in Anhui Province showed a significant downward trend;the annual average concentration of ammonia nitrogen in these lakes and res-ervoirs showed a significant downward trend,while the permanganate index,total phosphorus and total nitrogen showed significant upward trends.It is recommended to proceed from the perspectives of ecosystem integrity and watershed systematization,focusing on water resources,aquatic ecology and water environment to achieve sustainable use of water resources.
