摘要

Abstract

To investigate the performance recovery efficiency of bio oil as a road regeneration agent on aged asphalt in reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP),that is,the amount of performance recovery of aged asphalt per unit dosage of bio oil,three types of bio-oils(i.e.corn,soybean and fiber pyrolysis oils)were selected to recover the rheological properties of the aged asphalt binders,among which rheological experiments were carried out.The effectiveness of three bio-oils was evaluated by comparing the recovered rheological performance at the fixed oil content.The index of high-and low-temperature performance grade(PG H and PG l)were employed to characterize anti-permanent deformation and anti-cracking properties in the high and low temperatures,respectively.The results show that corn and soybean oils exhibited lower viscosity than fiber pyrolysis oil,meanwhile these two oils show some advantages in improving low-temperature performance and over decreasing high-temperature performance.The fiber pyrolysis oil was found to have the certain level of effect of accelerating aging in asphalt binders.
