摘要

Abstract

In order to research the axle load distribution and geometric passing performance of the double-trailer truck train,a model of the truck was constructed based on the TruckSim simulation platform.The axle load distribution of each axle group of the vehicle,the minimum turning radius and the turning inner wheel difference were investigated under the full load condition.A comparative analysis was then carried out with that of the semi-trailer automobile train.The results show that:(1)there is no obvious difference between the two types of vehicles in terms of axle load;(2)the minimum turning radius of the double-trailer truck train increases 0.59 m and 4.07%compared with the semi-trailer truck train.When the radius of the geometric at the intersection is 20 m,the right-turn inner wheel difference of the double-trailer truck train is reduced by 0.79 m and 27.92%compared with that of the semi-trailer truck train.Furthermore,swept area is reduced by 7.15 m2 and 13.77%.This finding suggests that the double-trailer truck train possesses a higher level of maneuver ability when negotiating curves in comparison to the semi-trailer truck train.
