Abstract

In order to develop phase change temperature regulating fabrics that can adapt to environmental temperatures and achieve self-regulation,and endow textiles with good thermal management capabilities,phase change material(PCM)octadecane was taken as the core material and polymer polyacrylonitrile(PAN)as the wall material,phase change energy storage fibers with temperature regulating function was prepared by using co-axial electrospinning technology.By studying the effects of core wall extrusion rate ratio,PAN concentration and spinning voltage on the preparation of phase change energy storage fibers,the preparation process of phase change energy storage fibers was optimized.The morphology,chemical structure,thermal stability and phase transition properties of the phase change energy storage fibers were characterized by using scanning electron microscopy(SEM),infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),thermogravimetric analysis(TG)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The results showed that the phase change energy storage fi-bers spun with a PAN solution concentration of 18%,a spinning voltage of 18.5 kV and a core wall extrusion rate ratio of 1:7 exhibited a smooth and uniform morphology.The average fiber diameter was 0.70 μm,the melting temperature was 28.9℃and the melting enthalpy was 47.7 J/g.The fibers had good thermal stability and tem-perature regulating effect,and had good encapsulation properties for the core material.
