Abstract

A series of InOOH/ZIF-8(IOH/ZIF-8)nanocomposites are successfully prepared via solvothermal method using indium hydroxyl oxide(InOOH)as the precursor.The sensing properties of the prepared materials are evaluated through gas sensitivity test.Taking ethanol as the target gas,it is found that InOOH100/ZIF-8 gas sensor has the highest response value(56),low detection limit(7.59 mg/m3),good selectivity and short response/recovery time(34/27s),and has excellent performance in stability(high tempera-ture,high humidity and long-term cycle stability).The improved gas-sensitive performance is attributed to the unique porous structure formed by ZIF-8 and InOOH,which has a large specific surface area,provides more active sites,facilitates gas desorption、adsorption and host-guest interaction,and effectively avoids the disadvantages of easy oxidation,agglomeration and poor conductivity of ZIF-8 when heated by InOOH.In summary,InOOH100/ZIF-8 nanocomposite is one of the potential ethanol gas-sensitive sensing materials,with ad-vantages of simple production process and low cost.Through continuous improvement and optimization of InOOH100/ZIF-8 nanocompos-ites,it is of great practical significance to expand its application.
