Abstract

Aiming at the problem of damage to transformer and high-voltage arrester caused by lightning intrusion wave,firstly the harm caused by lightning wave to transformer and high-voltage arrester is ana-lyzed,and secondly,line arresters or protective gaps are installed on several base towers in front of the transformer high-voltage side to weaken the lightning intrusion wave to prevent equipment damage,and the effects of two measures are analyzed and compared.Based on ATP/EMTP software,a model of 35 kV lightning wave intrusion transformer is established,and the simulation results show that when the first base pole tower near the transformer is struck by lightning and causes a two-phase insulator flashover,the lightning intrusion wave will cause damage to the arrester on the high-voltage side.The installation of line arrester can weaken the lightning intrusion wave better than the installation protection gap,and the protection range of the line arrester is wider,and the research results have a certain guiding reference va-lue for the prevention and control of lightning intrusion wave in 35 kV line.
