Abstract
The classical Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman(GTN)damage model is established based on the pore expansion fail-ure model dominated by high stress triaxiality,but the GTN model is not sensitive to the failure behavior dominated by shear action under low stress triaxiality.Four different notch shapes of tensile specimens were designed to simulate the material be-havior under different stress triaxialities.The ABAQUS finite element software was used for numerical simulation,and the GTN model parameters were calibrated through the inverse calibration method,and the mesh was locally refined in the notch fracture area to accurately simulate crack propagation.Through multiple iterations,the GTN parameters of X80 pipe-line steel base material and its welds with different matching degrees were successfully calibrated.The study found that the main parameters affecting the nonlinear response of ductile materials include the Tvergaard coefficient,initial porosity,and nucleated pore volume fraction.The porosity parameters and nucleation function parameters of the weld metal are signifi-cantly different from those of the base material,indicating that the same set of parameters cannot be directly used for the ductile fracture simulation of pipeline ring welds.Combining the finite element numerical simulation and the inverse calibra-tion method,the GTN model parameters applicable to X80 pipeline steel ring weld joints were successfully calibrated.This provides a basis for more accurate simulation of the fracture behavior of pipeline ring welds.Future research should further optimize the GTN model,considering the dependence of plastic state variables,to establish a fully coupled plastic constitutive-driven damage constitutive.关键词
