船用B10铜镍焊接弯管腐蚀失效机理研究
Study on Corrosion Failure Mechanism of Welded B10 Cu-Ni Alloy Elbows for Marine Applications

Abstract
This paper conducts a failure analysis on the corrosion phenomenon of welded B10 Cu-Ni alloy elbows used in marine applications.Through low-magnification observation,metallographic analysis,and electron probe microanalysis,it is found that the primary cause of corrosion failure in the B10 Cu-Ni welded elbows is seawater erosion corrosion.Under the action of seawater erosion,the protective oxide film(Cu2O)on the copper-nickel alloy is damaged,leading to intergranular corrosion of the material.As the corrosion progresses to a certain extent,the grains begin to detach under the erosive force of the seawater.Due to the protrusions(weld reinforcement)at the bottom of the weld and the turbulent flow field with higher velocities at the elbow,the areas close to the weld seam in the elbow are identified as critical zones prone to erosion corro-sion.Furthermore,the self-corrosion current in the heat-affected zone(HAZ)of the B10 alloy is greater than that in the weld region and the base material,indicating a higher corrosion rate and a greater tendency for corrosion failure to occur in the HAZ.关键词
