摘要

Abstract

In this study,the welding process of stationary shoulder friction stir welding 6061-T6 aluminum alloy corner joint was carried out,and the influence of different welding speeds(200,300,400 mm/min)and rotation speeds(2 500,2 750 and 3 000 r/min)on the macroscopic forming,microstructure and mechanical properties of the corner joint was investigated.The results demonstrate that,under the specified welding parameters,well-formed corner joints can be obtained without the pres-ence of holes or other defects,and that the welding process is stable.The average grain size of the stirring zone,width of the heat affected zone,and average grain size of the heat affected zone of SSFSW corner joints increase with the increase of welding heat input,and decrease with the decrease of welding heat input..The microhardness distribution of the welded joints exhibits a W-shaped pattern,with the hardness value of the heat-affected zone and overlapping of stir zone being rela-tively low,indicating a softening zone within the joint.As the heat input increases,the softening phenomenon in the afore-mentioned overlapping zone and heat-affected zone becomes more pronounced.
