Abstract
Laser self-fusion welding experiments were conducted on 1.5 mm thick hot-rolled TTS443 ferrite stainless steel sheets to study the effects of different welding heat inputs on the joint structure,microhardness,and static tensile properties.The results show that as the heat input increases,the average width of the fusion zone increases.The fusion zone has a coarse ferrite columnar grain structure,while the base metal zone has a fine and uniform ferrite structure.Although the grain size in the heat-affected zone grows significantly,it is close to that of the base metal.When the welding heat input is less than 20 J/mm,the weld is not penetrated;when the welding heat input is greater than 20 J/mm,the weld formation is good,but as the heat input increases,the color at the fusion line deepens,reducing the aesthetic appearance of the weld.When the welding heat input is 24 J/mm,the joint formation is aesthetically pleasing.The microhardness shows a decreasing trend from the center of the weld to the heat-affected zone and all the way to the base metal,and the static tensile properties reach more than 95%of the base metal,meeting the requirements for actual production applications.关键词
