环境执法对企业绿色创新的影响研究
Research on the Impact of Environmental Enforcement on Enterprises'Green Innovation
摘要
Abstract
Achieving high-quality economic development is the core goal of China's economic transformation,and green in-novation plays a key role as an important link.Whether environmental regulations are implemented or stay at the level of legal deter-rence have different impacts on green innovation.Based on the data of China's A-share listed companies from 2013 to 2023,this study empirically examines the impact of environmental enforcement on corporate green innovation and its transmission mechanism.The study finds that environmental law enforcement breaks the rigidity of organizations,strengthens long-term development orienta-tion,and incentivizes enterprises to increase environmental protection investment,thereby promoting green innovation.Further a-nalysis shows that environmental law enforcement has a stronger role in promoting green innovation in enterprises with good institu-tional environment,traditional industrial background and strong political connections.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the role of environmental law enforcement in promoting green innovation is particularly significant in state-owned enterprises and large-scale enterprises.In addition,in the context of digital transformation,environmental law enforcement can help further enhance enterprises'green innovation capabilities.This study shows that strengthening environmental law enforcement is crucial to promoting green innovation of enterprises,especially when the governance structure and industry characteristics are adapted,and the imple-mentation of environmental regulations should be strengthened and combined with digitalization.Further tap the green development potential of enterprises.This study has important theoretical value and practical significance for testing the effect of government envi-ronmental governance policies,improving the effect of environmental regulation behavior,and promoting the green transformation of enterprises.关键词
