摘要

Abstract

In order to clarify the process mineralogical characteristics of a phosphate tailings in Hubei Province,the chemical composition,mineral composition,particle size distribution,monomer dissociation,and intergrowth relation-ship of the phosphate tailings samples were studied using automatic mineral quantitative analysis system(AMICS),scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive spectrometer(SEM-EDS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray fluores-cence spectrometer(XRF)and other methods.The results show that the main minerals of the phosphate tailings sample are dolomite and collophane,while the secondary minerals are quartz,potassium feldspar,pyrite and so on.The intergrowth relationship of collophane is simple,mainly coexisting with dolomite,quartz and other minerals,and collophane is dispersed in granular form and immersed in dolomite.The complex coexistence of collophane,dolomite,and pyrite makes it difficult to effectively separate collophane from other minerals.It is recommended to further reco-ver the phosphorus in the phosphate tailings by the process of"classification-regrinding-reflotation",or to prepare highly active calcium magnesium silicon potassium fertilizers by high-temperature calcination activation with potas-sium feldspar,or to prepare soil conditioners.
