摘要

Abstract

Calcium carbonate is an important inorganic functional material that has been widely used in the field of industrial production.With the rapid development of global industry,the demand for high-performance lightweight calcium carbonate(PCC)is constantly increasing.The chemical method is the only way to prepare high-performance functional products of light calcium carbonate.This paper introduces the characteristics of three crystal forms of cal-cium carbonate:calcite,aragonite,and vaterite,and summarizes the research status of three chemical methods for synthesizing light calcium carbonate,including Ca2+-H2O-CO32-system,Ca2+-H2O-CO2 system,and Ca2+-R-CO32-(R is an organic medium)system.The roles of three main additives,inorganic ions,soluble copolymers,and biomacromolecules,in the chemical synthesis of light calcium carbonate are summarized.In response to the serious dependence on imported high-performance light calcium carbonate products in China,the key development directions for light calcium carbonate in the future are pointed out.
