Abstract
This paper seeks to address the issue of thermal disturbance caused by the thermokarst lakes on adjacent subgrade engineering in the permafrost regions of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Taking a thermokarst lake along the Erzhi Highway Project as an example,the study involves establishing a numer-ical model of the temperature field of permafrost subgrade considering the effects of climate warming and thermokarst lakes by using finite element software,and analyzing the influence of the thermokarst lake and the distance between the thermokarst lake and the subgrade on the thermal stability of the permafrost subgrade.The results show that the thermokarst lake can affect the thermal state of surrounding perma-frost significantly,causing the degradation of permafrost.The nearer the thermokarst lake is to the sub-grade,the more evident its thermal disturbance effect is.With the thermokarst lake on one side,there is a different permafrost temperature on the left and right shoulders,which leads to uneven settlement of the subgrade.With the distance between the thermokarst lake and the subgrade over 20 m,the thermal state of the permafrost subgrade is basically not affected by the thermokarst lake.Therefore,the subgrade can be constructed beyond 20 m from the thermokarst lake.关键词
