Abstract
Hulun Lake,the largest lake in Inner Mongolia,underwent a phytoplankton resource investigation to un-derstand its phytoplankton community structure and water quality across different periods.The survey identified 97 phytoplankton species belonging to 90 genera and 7 phyla,with Chlorophyta being the most dominant group.A de-clining trend in phytoplankton species diversity was observed compared to previous surveys.During summer and au-tumn,sudden increases in water temperature triggered localized outbreaks of Microcystis and Crucigenia(particu-larly notable for Microcystis proliferation),leading to reduced biodiversity at specific sampling sites.Relevant au-thorities must remain vigilant to prevent large-scale cyanobacterial blooms.According to the Margalef index(eval-uating species distribution richness),all sampling sites were classified as heavily polluted category.关键词
