Research on recirculating aquaculture systems:A review of the mechanism for removing geosmin in sea bass
摘要
Abstract
With the rapid development of global aquaculture,recirculating aquaculture systems(RAS)have be-come an important breeding model due to their high efficiency and environmental friendliness.However,the accu-mulation of off-flavor substances in aquatic products,especially geosmin and 2-methylisoborneol(2-MIB),seri-ously affects the quality of fish meat.This article reviews the sources of geosmin and its pathways into fish bodies,and focuses on discussing the research progress of physical,chemical,and biological methods in removing earthy odors,including activated carbon adsorption,zeolite technology,algaecides,and ultraviolet photocatalysis.It also analyzes their application effects and limitations in recirculating aquaculture,aiming to provide theoretical basis and technical references for improving the flavor of aquatic products and enhancing the benefits of aquaculture.关键词
