Abstract
The experiment was designed to study the effects of different ratios of dried maggot powder on the growth performance of crayfish(Procambarus clarkii),and to determine the optimal addition ratio of dried maggot powder in crayfish culture.A total of 360 crayfish were selected for the experiment,which were divided into 4 treatments with 3 replicates of 30 crayfish each according to the principle of one-way experimental design.The control group of crayfish was fed with basal diet,while groups 1,2 and 3 were fed with 20%,40%and 60%dry maggot meal,respectively,with the dry maggot meal replacing fish meal in equal amounts.The test period was 90 days.At the end of the test,the growth performance of crayfish in each group was examined.The results showed that compared with the control group,feeding 60%maggot meal significantly decreased the end weight(P<0.05),significantly decreased the specific growth rate(P<0.05),and significantly increased the feed coefficient(P<0.05)of cray-fish,while feeding 20%and 40%maggot meal did not have a significant effect on the end weight,weight gain,specific growth rate,survival rate and feed coefficient(P>0.05).The study showed that the use of 20%to 40%of dried maggot meal instead of fish meal in crayfish culture had no negative effect on their growth performance,and 40%of dried maggot meal could be used instead of fish meal in actual production.关键词
