Structural optimization of discontinuous combined box culvert in sluices
摘要
Abstract
To study the relationship between the length of discontinuous combined box culvert structures and their structural deformation,as well as the width of cracks in components,a 3D finite element model was established using the finite element method.The analysis was based on an engineering example to calculate the stress,strain,and crack width under different lengths and operating conditions.The research findings are as follows:1)The maximum stress,strain,and crack width in the side plates of the box culvert occur at the center of the structure.The longer the discontinuous combined box culvert,the greater the deformation and crack width at the center of the structure.2)When the length of the discontinuous combined box culvert is no greater than 7 meters,the structure typically meets the crack width control requirements.However,if the length exceeds 7 meters,a review of the crack width is necessary to determine whether additional constraint measures are needed to control structural deformation.关键词
