Effect of thunder-fire moxibustion on children with neurodevelopmental disorders complicated with recurrent respiratory tract infection

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of thunder-fire moxibustion on children with neurodevelopmental disorders complicated with recurrent respiratory tract infection(RRTI).Methods A total of 600 children with neurodevelopmental disorders complicated with RRTI admitted to Ganzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group(300 cases)and observation group(300 cases).The control group was treated with routine rehabilitation,and the observation group was treated with thunder-fire moxibustion on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 3 weeks.The clinical efficacy,cellular immune function,humoral immune function,qi deficiency constitution score,growth and development,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+and immunoglobulin(Ig)levels of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and CD8+level and qi deficiency constitution scores were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After 6 months of follow-up,the scores of Gesell development diagnosis scale(GDDS)and gross motor function measure(GMFM)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).No adverse reactions such as skin burns and allergic reactions were observed in the two groups.Conclusion Thunder-fire moxibustion is effective in the treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders combined with RRTI,which can enhance the immune function of children,correct their qi deficiency constitution,and improve their growth and development.The clinical application is safe and reliable,which is worthy of promotion and application.关键词
